GMEF Makes Enrichment Gift for Accessible Swing Project

Members of the GMEF Board of Directors have discovered an opportunity to invest in the future, make a  difference in the lives of children,  choose positive actions and take on a responsibility that has given them the privilege of serving our youth.  With that philosophy in mind, at their June meeting, the Gill Montague Education Fund voted unanimously to make an ‘Enrichment Gift” of $500 to “A Friend to Friend - accessible swing project.” in support of their $15,000 goal.  The swing will be the only one of its kind in Franklin County and will join only a dozen of its caliber in the United States.

They were presented by Kaitlyn Miner and Carol Gloski in memory of Sandy Miner.
The graduates then went into the audience and gave their rose to a special person in their lives.
